Precautions for use to ensure safety
1. Pre-use inspection: Before each use, be sure to carefully check whether the sealing ring of the lid is intact, and whether the safety valve and bleeder valve are unobstructed. If parts are found to be damaged or clogged, they should be replaced or cleaned up immediately to avoid safety hazards during use.
2. Food filling: the food in the pot should not be more than two-thirds of the pot, so as to avoid the expansion of food during the heating process to block the vent hole, triggering danger. Especially in the cooking beans, rice and other easy to expand the food, pay more attention to control the amount.
3. Properly close the lid and heating: When closing the lid, make sure that the lid and the pot are completely fastened in place. When heating, first use high heat to make the pot pressurize quickly, and then turn to low heat to maintain the pressure after the safety valve starts to vent.
Depressurization operation: After cooking, do not force open the lid. You should wait for the pressure cooker to cool down naturally to reduce the pressure, or use the correct manual pressure reduction method, such as immersing the pressure cooker in cold water to reduce the temperature, but be careful to avoid splashing water on the electrical components. Only after confirming that the pressure inside the cooker is completely released, can the lid be opened.
4. Daily maintenance: After use, wait for the pressure cooker to cool down, wash it with a soft cloth and neutral detergent, avoid using steel wire balls and other sharp objects to scrape the cooker body, so as not to damage the surface coating. After washing, place the pressure cooker in a dry and ventilated place to prevent rusting.
